IPI Durorod High-performance rods for coating and metering film press operations

IPI Durorod is an IPI product developed in conjunction with BTG to
enhance sizing, pigmenting and coating quality of base paper.
Our unique chrome application manufacturing process creates rods that
have some of the hardest surfaces in the industry. Unlike many of our
competitors, we control this manufacturing process in our plant rather
than relying on subcontractors. This gives us control of the costs, the
quality and the delivery schedules of our chrome rods.
We use only the highest level of stainless steel raw material to
manufacture the rods. This allows us to have some of the shortest
manufacturing lead-times in the industry.
IPI Durorod is available for both hydrodynamic (smooth rod) and
volumetric (profiled rod) applications. Designed OEM profiles as well as
custom profiles adapted to your very application offer improved coating
properties and quality enhancements. The absolute optimization of the
groove profiles for your application becomes an extreme priority for us
as this is the most efficient method of operating a film press and
reducing your costs.
